The Void is a fantasy/sci-fi anthology series developed by Carey Broadbent, with Amin Caluk serving as executive producer. What's unique about this new show is the fact that it's written by the fans. Any member of theVPN community has the opportunity to contribute to production by writing their very own one-off episode!

Producers and writers, while hard at work coming up with material for the first season, have not announced an official premiere date, although episodes are expected to be released this year; with an irregular schedule? That is also yet to be determined.

But in the meantime, VSGuide has pulled together every episode pitched and accepted by producers. Read them after the jump!

Allan Tolliver, newly sentenced, arrives at Ptolomaea Prison late and is quickly thrown into a cell with bunkmate Henry James. As the guards yell "Light's out", they prepare to sleep. However, Allan notices the cell door is open, and that the rest of the prison seems to be empty... What he steps into is nothing short of Hell...
"Lights Out" has been announced as the very first episode of "The Void" to be released. The episode itself is written by series creator, Carey Broadbent, and was initially the premise for a movie project Broadbent was developing.

Now set up as the first script of this new anthology readers will see, we can expect it to set the tone for the series as a whole. Anthology series have the opportunity to tell fresh, unique stories with each passing episode, but they should all have recurring themes or tones. Being labeled as Science Fiction, Fantasy, as well as horror, gives written an almost endless amount of creative directions to take each episode, and we're hoping "Lights Out" does a good job in creating that atmosphere.

As time past, and wounds began to heal, six local teens decide to take the tragedy and turned it into a taboo Halloween tradition, Midnight Massacre. M.J. Calder brings "The Thin Man" - It’s Simon Everett’s job as a university professor to know all about modern myths and folklore, but his preferred tale is that of the Slender Man. M.J. Calder presents "Eventide" - Nathanial “Nate” Voss is a one hundred and fourteen year old vampire, and any vampire can tell you that after the first hundred years things start to get boring. Which most certainly did not make him sparkle. Because he was a vampire. Not a pixy.
