With the news of The Super Teens hitting a green-light earlier this morning, we were able to catch up with Britt Robertson, who plays Janice Knox, one of the three main leads of the series.
VSGUIDE: So, Britt, how does it feel to have The Super Teens picked up for the VPN’s lineup?
Britt: It feels so amazing! Like, I can’t even describe how amazingly awesome this feels! Everyone on the cast and crew can’t wait for everyone to see what we have up our sleeves.
VSGUIDE: So, can you tell us a little bit about your character?
BRITT: Well, she’s a bitch. [laughs] For the first episode anyway! Well, she starts to get less bitchy with each one. But no, she’s pretty demanding at some points, but she can have a soft side.
VSGUIDE: Sounds like she can be pretty tough! So, what was it like to work with your costars, Logan and Shenae?
BRITT: We’re all literally like siblings. Except the whole DNA thing, but who cares about that. [laughs] But yeah, they’re really freaking great. And it’s kind of hard to concentrate when we’re filming, because all we do is laugh!
VSGUIDE: Speaking of filming, do you have any spoilers for any upcoming episodes?
BRITT: Well, the main, evil “chick” is revealed….the….mid-season finale? I don’t know, we haven’t got that far yet. Debbie gets kidnapped in one episode. Dun, dun, dun! And I hear that someone dies during the season finale. I hope it’s not me. It’d be kind of awkward if it was me.
VSGUIDE: So, we know Janice gains a superpower, along with her siblings. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
BRITT: Ya know…. God, no I don’t’ know. Uh… Let’s go with invisibility. Just cuz.
VSGUIDE: Last question, what can fans expect in The Super Teens?
BRITT: Action, humor, and anything you can think of. I think everyone’s going to love it!
