"Trinity" and "Hellbound" executive producer, Chris Davis, and "Land of the Living Dead" co-creator are teaming up for the recently announced "Firefly" virtual continuation. Both writers serving as co-executive producers. The team has committed to the season two premiere today, which can officially turn this "rumor" into a plan!

Davis will have two concurrent series on theVPN this year: Hellbound and Trinity, with the hopes of the network ordering his new pilot "The Agency," to series. Chris Davis, as of late, has been collaborating with quite a few writers for a number of projects: "Hellbound" paired him with Jack D. Malone, who he has worked with before on "Watchtower", "Trinity," and a number of un-produced pilots. Also, "The Agency" is being produced by himself and younger brother, Jason T. Davis.
Caluk has been hard at work supervising production of "The Void," while serving as an executive producer. The Void, the fantasy/sci-fi/horror hybrid anthology from "Land of the Living Dead" co-creator, Carey Broadbent, is expected to begin releasing episodes some time this year, however an official premiere date is yet to be determined.

The project (Firefly: The Virtual Continuation) itself is in the earliest stages of pre-production, as the writing duo have just begun mapping out their plans for the second season; determining which relationships and storylines from season one should be re-established as they move forward into the new season, and of course, discovering ways to establish their own history and create new, interesting stories.

When asked what we can expect from season two, executive producer, Chris Davis, said "It's still quite early to know for sure, but Amin and I are mostly focused on laying down the ground work for these characters, calling back situations from season one, and reworking a few things within the 'mythos,' before bringing in our own ideas and letting the crew of Serenity really explore themselves in a way they were unable to in the short-lived original series."
